That local limit must remain clear. No current authoritative participation list found in the research confirms Barry County jail coverage. For MODOC, scheduled release and parole-hearing information can also flow through MOVANS. The Office of Victim Services handles formal victim registration and can give notice of parole hearings and results, release to the community, escape, and death. An active MODOC record may still describe someone living in Barry County under parole or conditional release. Final discharge is a later event.

- For telephone calls, create a memorable four-digit PIN. Enter the PIN when the automated call arrives to acknowledge it and stop repeat calls.
- Keep the confirmation and separately verify any alert with the Jail, MODOC, or named reporting agency.

The national VINE instructions say unacknowledged telephone calls can repeat for at least twenty-four hours, which is why the PIN step matters.

Barry County MOVANS Coverage Limits
MOVANS and VINELink should not be merged into one claim. MOVANS is Missouri’s named notification program, and the Office of Victim Services manages formal registration for state corrections events. Barry County’s own Alerts & Update Signup is different again. The Sheriff provides a mobile website with a 48 Hour Release link. No verified Sheriff iOS or Android app was found. The mobile page is still a public web version of the county’s rolling feed. That feed lasts forty-eight hours, while VINELink searches and MOVANS alerts depend on the coverage and events available for the selected person.

A BOP status addresses BOP custody only, and an ICE match addresses immigration custody only. Barry County Registry Notifications
